We start with a video we couldn't post yesterday....While Christine and Prue did sports, Maria sang with Moses!

Last night, before heading to the sister's home for dinner, we walked around the back dirt roads of Choma -~Check out the great blue sky. The people (especially the children) are very welcoming and interested in us - we are often called "the white people" by the children. Other than the two sisters we  haven't really seen any other white people - a humbling yet wonderful experience!

Children of Choma walking home from school and playing!
 A beautiful Zambian sunset!

This morning we all taught - mostly early nurmeracy and literacy skills. We are quickly realizing the many needs of this school. Besides big projects like buildings to house more children and a car to transport the students - they have one open truck that they transport about 20 students at a time to church, events, etc....in a very unsafe manner....they need a van --  here is a short list of classroom supplies desperately needed;  Books, crayons, pencil sharpeners, paper, counters, and toys...the classrooms are bare!  The teachers do the best with what they have - this is a place we believe we can help!
Prue bought a few books from a market....the students ate them up...the were practically fighting over them!
 We played games and sang.....

 Ivy...so proud of her drawing!
The teachers we are working with....so kind!
We ended the morning with a special dance and singing performance...amazing - hope to get some video up!  Off to after school activities ....Will post soon!
